The popular K-pop group Fromis_9 is unveiling a refreshing summer vibe with their new mini-album ‘From Our 20’s’. Released by Ascend Entertainment, the album will be available on various online music platforms starting July 25 at 6 PM. This sixth mini-album includes a total of six tracks, featuring the title song ‘LIKE YOU BETTER‘ along with other captivating pieces such as ‘REBELUTIONAL‘, ‘Love=Disaster‘, ‘Strawberry Mimosa‘, ‘Twisted love‘, and ‘Merry Go Round‘.

The album ‘From Our 20’s’ is a heartfelt reflection of emotions and moments encountered in their 20s. The group expresses their signature bright energy and pop elements in a more refined and sophisticated musical style. The title track, ‘LIKE YOU BETTER’, captures the essence of summer, engaging listeners with its multifaceted storytelling on love.

The track features cool synthesizer sounds, cheerful guitar riffs, and an explosive chorus, promising a unique sense of freshness to their fans, known as FloVers.

Diverse Themes and Energetic Performances

‘REBELUTIONAL’ depicts boldness and resilience against the cold realities of life, narrating an inner revolution to become a new self. ‘Love=Disaster’ takes on a high-teen punk rock genre, showcasing the group’s powerful high notes and intense rock sound.

The following track, ‘Strawberry Mimosa‘, grabs attention as it was written and composed by Fromis_9’s Jiwon Park. The song brilliantly captures the enchantment and thrill of falling in love, akin to the cocktail it’s named after.

‘Twisted love’ explores the paradoxical facets of painful yet cherished love, expressing a burst of energy during the chorus, thanks to the involvement of Hayoung Song in songwriting and composing.

Concluding the album, ‘Merry Go Round’ stands out with its warm brass sound, conveying a promise to forever stay by the FloVers’ side, creating a special connection with their fans.

Upcoming Performances and World Tour

Fromis_9 will perform the title track ‘LIKE YOU BETTER’ on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on July 26 and will connect with FloVers through various music shows afterwards. Furthermore, the group is set to embark on a world tour starting with ‘NOW TOMORROW’ on August 9 and 10 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul.
