9th October marked a milestone for fans of BLACKPINK worldwide as YG Entertainment officially announced the group’s engagement in shooting a new music video since October 6th.
YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk had earlier assured fans of exciting announcements regarding BLACKPINK’s new songs. True to his word, preparations for the full group comeback are progressing seamlessly.
Given that it’s been approximately 2 years and 8 months since BLACKPINK’s last music release, curiosity and excitement among global music enthusiasts are at an all-time high. Although specific details such as the release schedule, song title, and concept remain under wraps, the initiation of the music video shoot suggests that their comeback is imminent.
An International Collaboration
According to YG Entertainment, the music video is being shot in collaboration with renowned foreign directors right here in Korea. This unique blend promises to create another signature music video encapsulating BLACKPINK’s identity and musical essence.
