As Jungkook, a member of the globally adored group BTS, prepares to complete his military service on June 11, fans are honoring this significant event with an outpouring of support and celebration. Leading the charge is Jungkook’s domestic fanclub ‘Jungkook Supporters’, who have orchestrated a series of events titled ‘Golden Return – Jungkook’ to mark not just his discharge, but also his 12th debut anniversary.
Coffee Truck Event: A Sweet Tribute
On June 11, a coffee truck will station near the Yeoncheon military base where Jungkook served, providing coffee and snacks to soldiers and reporters. Dubbed the ‘Golden Return’, this event underscores the fans’ enthusiastic spirit and commitment.
Earlier, from June 5 to 8, the ‘Jungkook Supporters’ organized a special event called ‘Jungkook Throws a Treat’, offering free beverages and ice cream to soldiers visiting Coffee Bay Yeoncheon Jeongok and Baskin Robbins Gyeonggi Yeoncheon store.
An Array of Advertisements
The celebration continues with advertisements adorning Yeoncheon taxi cabs from April 1 to June 30, showcasing Jungkook’s discharge celebration. Additionally, from June 5 to June 11, streetlamps across the regions of Yeoncheon and Jeongok will be decorated with banners delivering supportive messages.
Not to be outdone, 50 banners with congratulatory messages will be installed near Yeoncheon military base until June 11, offering a remarkable tribute to this illustrious occasion.
Nationwide Bus Advertisements
The celebrations extend nationwide with SSA-grade and A-grade Seoul city buses, advertising Jungkook from June 5 to July 4. These routes pass through various parts of Seoul, including the area near HYBE’s new headquarters in Yongsan, further amplifying the celebration.
Cafés Turn Into Celebratory Arenas
From June 12 to 15, Cafe Seoulsup Under Stand Avenue will host a large-scale exhibition, cafe event, character balloons, photo booths, and outdoor decorations that reflect Jungkook’s solo journey, nicknamed ‘Cafe Golden Bliss’. This will create a space of warmth and admiration for Jungkook’s fans.
