Blackswan, the global K-pop girl group, successfully completed their first concert in Uzbekistan on the 25th at Humo Arena, the most prestigious venue in Tashkent. This event marks the first-ever solo concert by a K-pop artist at this venue, highlighting its significance in Central Asia.

A Royal Welcome

During their visit, Blackswan received a royal welcome with intense media focus. Large billboards of the group were displayed at the airport and throughout Tashkent, including subway ads promoting the concert. Fans with vuvuzelas and trumpets gathered at the airport to create an enthusiastic atmosphere.

A Night to Remember

On the day of the concert, Humo Arena was filled with approximately 10,000 attendees. Blackswan performed a diverse setlist including their hit songs ‘Roll Up’, ‘Karma’, and the newly released ‘I Like It Hot’. Notably, the dance unit of Fatou & Sriya and the vocal unit of Envy & Gabi gave particularly memorable performances.

The group members also served as judges at a local dance competition before the concert, earning great applause from fans.

A Global Impact

D R Music, Blackswan’s managing agency, expressed their gratitude: “We did not expect such a warm welcome and love. The cheers from fans filling Humo Arena will remain an unforgettable memory for the members.”

Moving Forward

Blackswan is set to accelerate their global activities. They are scheduled to perform in Washington, D.C., on May 31, Chicago on June 1, and Germany in July. The group also plans to make a comeback with a new album in the latter half of the year.
