82MAJOR to Make Explosive Debut at KCON Japan 2025 with High-Impact Performances

Rising K-pop boy group 82MAJOR is making waves as they gear up for a standout appearance at KCON Japan 2025. The group, consisting of members Nam Seongmo, Park Seokjun, Yoon Yechang, Jo Seongil, Hwang Seongbin, and Kim Dokyun, will captivate fans for three consecutive days from May 9 to 11 at the Makuhari Messe venue in Chiba, Japan.

Kicking off the event on May 9 with the red carpet and pre-show appearances, 82MAJOR will continue to energize the crowd on May 10 during the Shall We Dance stage, followed by their main showcase at the X Stage on May 11. This marks their first participation in a KCON event, and the group is determined to highlight their performance-based identity through powerful live music and choreography.

Their third mini album, SILENCE SYNDROME, released on April 14, achieved remarkable results by topping the iTunes K-pop Daily Track Chart and securing high positions on various album charts globally. The EP also charted prominently on Apple Music, reinforcing their rising global status. Notably, album sales nearly doubled from their previous release, X-82, setting a new personal record.

Further emphasizing their growing popularity, 82MAJOR‘s fourth solo concert titled 82 SYNDROME sold out instantly, showcasing their strong fanbase. The group will perform the concert from June 6 to 8 at the Myeonghwa Live Hall, engaging fans at home and abroad.

Group member Nam Seongmo has also stepped into a notable new role as a music show MC, having been recently selected to host Show Champion on MBC Music. Alongside their KCON appearance, 82MAJOR is booked to perform at the upcoming Weverse Con Festival, further solidifying their reputation as one of K-pop’s most promising live acts in 2025.
