24-Hour Health Club Heats Up: Lee Jun-young’s Emotional Confession Wins Over Jung Eun-ji

Lee Junyoung touches hearts with Jung Eunjis emotional moment in 24Hour Health Club drama

The third episode of KBS 2TV’s drama 24-Hour Health Club brought emotional twists and motivational gym battles as Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Jun-young) fought to preserve his role as head trainer while winning new members to save the gym.

The emotional highlight came as Lee Jun-young’s character earnestly pleaded with Jung Eun-ji’s character, Lee Mi-ran: “Don’t go. Come to me.” Fans swooned at the sweet confession, marking a turning point in their relationship on screen.

Earlier in the episode, Mi-ran faced a crushing moment after an embarrassing encounter with her ex-boyfriend Yum Jun-seok (played by Jung Uk-jin). Feeling hopeless, she tried to cheer herself up with comfort food but failed to pull herself together. She then requested a refund and decided to quit the gym’s ‘Total Life Care’ program.

This triggered a series of efforts by Hyun-jung and fellow trainers Rosa (Lee Mi-do) and Alex (Lee Seung-woo) to retain members and keep the gym afloat. Desperate to turn things around, Rosa targeted a niche group called Skinny Man Fighting or ‘Smanpa,’ challenging Hyun-jung to bet his position on success.

Tensions escalated as Roy (Kim Kwon), Hyun-jung’s rival, opened a flashy mega gym across the street, threatening member loyalty. When Smanpa member Steelman (played by Cho Jeong-chi) visited, Hyun-jung initiated an intense but relatable fitness journey with him, striking a chord with viewers for its realism and determination.

Meanwhile, Mi-ran rediscovered her core strength during an unexpected moment on a bus, reigniting her passion. Though she initially joined Roy’s gym out of pride, she began missing the intense and personal training style of Hyun-jung. Their lighthearted reunion training scenes brought humor and heart.

Hyun-jung continued his aggressive member recruitment by asking Mi-ran for help reviving Steelman’s appetite through her infamous ‘Daedong Mukji-do’ food list. Their culinary tour—featuring dishes like pig’s feet and grilled clams—offered laughter and warmth. Mi-ran also consoled Steelman: “You didn’t even realize your body was changing just by working out.”

With support rebuilding and word of mouth spreading, 24-Hour Health Club began reclaiming its reputation as a ‘fitness haven.’ Hyun-jung’s heartfelt efforts culminated in saving his position as head trainer. But the drama isn’t over—he soon confronted Rosa with intense resolve, declaring, “You need to leave.”

As tensions rise, viewers are left to wonder: what’s next for Hyun-jung and Rosa in their never-ending fight for fitness and pride?
