JUNKY CREAM’s Virtual Artist BRAZY Makes Official Debut with ‘BAD THINGS’

BRAZYs OCEAN debuts in techdriven Kpop music video BAD THINGS by JUNKY CREAM

JUNKY CREAM, an elite independent virtual production label redefining virtual art, officially launched its second project artist BRAZY‘s debut single ‘BAD THINGS’ on the 29th, introducing their newest virtual idol OCEAN to the world.

Unlike typical consumer-driven entertainment, BRAZY stands by the philosophy of creating refined and artistic content not for the masses, but for the one fervent fan. The artist’s debut embodies the powerful branding principles separating identity and sensibility before marketing ever begins.

Founded by Seoul- and California-based producers Chrome and GLITCH, JUNKY CREAM breaks traditional production boundaries by managing everything in-house—from initial concept design, modeling, music and choreography to branding and post-production of music videos.

OCEAN’s project broke new ground in K-pop visuals by incorporating Oscar-winning director Alberto Mielgo’s ‘Choppy Animation’ technique, famously seen in Spiderbus. The complete video underwent five additional rounds of layering, AI-based look design, and digital effects, highlighting the team’s elevated visual direction approach.

Music and performance were created through their “simultaneous production system,” allowing for beat-making and choreography to be organically integrated. The choreography was produced by veteran K-pop director Sammy with Jin from California, legendary street dancer NUPCHII, and rising talent SONJU. The track was produced by DAF and mixed by triple Grammy winner David ‘Yungin’ Kim, merging K-pop, North American hip-hop, and indie visual styles.

JUNKY CREAM isn’t merely developing CG idols—they approach each artist as an independent brand, fusing technology, AI, Unreal Engine, and new CG tools. For OCEAN’s debut, the team independently produced over 120 video assets, including teasers, music videos, mood films, and LAB LIVE sessions—a rare feat globally for a single virtual project.

“We communicate messages visually rather than through linear narrative or exposition. Our videos are more like artwork—speaking through style, rhythm, and emotional tone,” explained a JUNKY CREAM representative. “OCEAN’s project brings together K-pop, animation, street dance, and indie subcultures into a new artistic crossover, with ‘BAD THINGS’ as its anchor creation.”

Even before the debut, OCEAN had been generating buzz among design brands, filmmakers, and indie artists from North America, Europe, and Asia. JUNKY CREAM now positions itself at the forefront of the global virtual art scene.

OCEAN’s music video for ‘BAD THINGS’ was released on JUNKY CREAM’s official YouTube channel at noon on the 29th, signaling a larger future where tech, creativity, and artistic vision converge in the world of virtual idols.
